WSQ viewer is small (less than 1 Megabyte) and fast, has image zoom toolbar and supports accelerated navigation through files in the directory using keys page up / page down / home / end . After installation of WSQ viewer *.wsq files can be easily opened in Windows Explorer with simple mouse double click.

WSQ viewer is the demo version of WSQ (FBI's Wavelet Scalar Quantization) library add-on available as SDK for software developers.

Hi
THe WSQ viewer seems OK. Downloading without problems. I do have a problem with certain eps files but I have reason to beleive there is something wrong with the eps, not the viewer. The WSQ so far is simple and easy to use. Thanks.

My web search came back with WSQ as a search result for a program to view or convert ithmb files from an ipod, but after downloading and installing the WSQ viewer, I discovered that it would not do the required task for this file format.

The WSQ Viewer is exactly what I needed to quickly view .eps and other graphic files without having to open slow, memory heavy programs. Not only can I open them with ease but I can also save them as a .jpeg thumbnail to easily find the graphic I'm looking for. In business, time is money and WSQ Viewer certainly saves me a lot of time. It will be much more efficient to review graphics with clients as well. Easy user interface and easy to install. Great program.

This program does not meet my need. I'm looking for a viewer that can show me header information of an image file. This program does not have this feature.

failed to open eps file.

Downloaded to view a downloaded eps file but failed with this error message "Cannot Load image. Invalid or unexpected eps image format".

WSQ viewer, basic usage

I have recently download WSQ viewer because in my job we are inciating a proyect to verifiy identity of people who gets govermet help. Until now I have only used it to visually verify teh quality of the fingerpints collected, and the result were very good. I had no problem on reading adn display any file.

Viewing files with a .eps extension

I downloaded WSQ in order to view a .eps file, but it did not work.

Author's Response:

in current version of "WSQ viewer" EPS files without embedded pixel graphics in TIFF format (preview) are not supported. Please use EPS files with TIFF preview.
